In my family we have all different hair types from thick & curly, to fine & straight. I use a lot for my son's thick & curly hair, slightly less for my other son's finer, curly hair and just a little bit for my fine, straight hair (mostly to control my frizz). My husband also uses. His hair would be thick & curly, but he keeps it very short, so he only uses a little to moisturize his hair & scalp. It absorbs very quickly & smells great (very coconutty). I want to try the shampoo & conditioner next, especially for my son w/the thick,curly hair. He can never have too much moisture & I probably wouldn't have to use as much hair milk if I used the shampoo & conditioner first. The main ingredients in this is water, shea butter and silicones (which help to stretch and straighten the hair allowing detangling). The smell is great and it doesn't break my hair off which is great. The only problem is that my hair looks dull and slimy after it dries in my hair... It also makes my head ache. I have been using the shampoo and conditioner for some time now and since I live in a climate that can have obscene humidity levels, well my hair just wants to go all crazy. So, since I love the shampoo and conditioner so much. I thought I'd give this gem a little go and wow, amazing! Really smooths my hair down, but doesn't make it extremely heavy either. I also tried using this while straightening my hair and again, another win. Palmer's has gained a customer for life and I will try ANYTHING in their line before attempting another product ever again! I have been through NUMEROUS products in the past, all claiming to make my hair soft, make it shiny, look healthy. And I stumbled across this gem after my hair dresser suggested adding Olive Oil to my shampoo and conditioner. I popped open the cap to see if it will pass the smell test and WOW! It smells amazing!! So I purchased this with the conditioner and wow, it truly made my hair feel and look worlds better! I even added using the Hair Milk to me regimen, which really, I didn't need, since the shampoo and conditioner alone make my hair feel fabulous! I really put my hair through alot of stress. I was bleaching the front of my hair and dying it odd ball colors like purple, pink, red, blue, etc etc. And nothing was making my hair feel better. Well, I take that back, Morracan Oil my hair dresser used felt amazing! But I am always looking for a cheaper alternative. And with this product, it doesn't get much better than... I love this shampoo makes my hair feel so soft and clean. After a thyroid condition my hair lost health and it was falling. I needed vitamin to restore shine and take away dryness . Now my hair is growing and I'm so happy with the results I had to share it with others.
